While not many pictures here, this island was in the news recently. There was an eruption and the visitors had to be taken off immediately. We visited by helicopter and another couple was along. We had a guide and were supposed to be wearing our masks & hard hats.
When we went the island was benign and amazing.

Was breathing this air like a burning in your lungs? I have been around volcanoes and didn't much like the way it made my breathing and nasal passages feel super irritated. I had no camera with me at the time but even if I did it would have been very tough for me to shoot.
