This area in Edinburgh is being rejuvinated with a restored canal basin surrounded by new office, restaurants & bars. Its being done pretty well, keeping the old features like the old Leamington Lift Bridge.

I love the way that waterways and canal basins like this one are being renovated. They also make for excellent photo opportunities.

Seen this view a good many times - it is good to see the water back. Only managed a fleeting glance last time I passed.

I agree with Roe below, a lot things to see, but not a soul in sight. I love how those trees lean to one side. Very nice.

Very interesting. I wonder what kind of traffic is seen on the canal? Good to hear a revitalization effort is succeeding.
