Swanston Village is a tiny village on the very edge of Edinburgh and at the foot of the Pentland Hills. The village has only about ten houses, mostly charming thatched cottages (thatched roofs are pretty uncommon around here !) The only road is a private track for residents, vistors can only access the vllage by foot. It is an unspoilt place lost in time, yet it is only a few minutes from city boundary.
