March 13 Ginny and I took her back to Wolf River vet clinic for Dr Jim to check her out again. After unwraping her foot he figured she had some circulation in just one of her talons. The rest were dead. Without her foot she could never be released. So Ginny held her while she crossed over. No matter how many times we have to do this you would think it would get somewhat easier, it just gets harder and harder to make that decision.
Her remains will be picked up by Mike Young CO out of Shiocton and he will ship to the National Eagle Repository out in Denver where her feathers will be given to qualified native Americans.
