This multi-level bridge takes rail and road traffic across the Mississippi. It was opened in 1874 and represented one of the earliest uses of steel in this type of construction. I liked the complexity of the intersecting levels, and the supporting metalwork, plus the ample evidence of its age, so I indulged. Skip it if you're not into girders!
