I'm really blessed beyond belief that since High School I have NEVER had a day job, I have always worked hard to make a living as an artist and musician. The stuff you are looking at is what I thrive to do because it's my own creativity that people buy or see and hire me for there vision. I do love creating for myself and the people and when the paintings and photos are done, that's the most refreshing feeling. I never get tired or am never in the mood to create AND I don't need drugs to get my creative juices rolling. I just do it.
I have always separated my paintings from my photography as if they are just so different. Why-I ask myself? I realize with me. I don't look at myself as an airbrush artist.
I don't look at myself as an oil painter.
I don't look at my myself as a booty photographer.
I don't look at myself as a Funk drummer.
What I do is pick up the camera, drumsticks, the mic, the paintbrush and just create what's in my head and put it out there.
I'm always asked these questions,
"What kind of pictures do you take?"
"What kind of music do you play."
"What kind of paintings do you paint."
The answer has always been a cliched description of the style I work in....WRONG ANSWER!!! The next time someone asks what kind of Music or Art I do, my reply is, "I make good music and good art." Who cares about the style as long as it's good.
