My mother is a true lady. In a way, she is how I judge a some women that I have met. My mother has integrity-that is something that I never realized she had till I few years ago. So, I wanted to do a painting for her birthday that depicted the qualities that she has. The cross has been painted so many ways and I wanted to paint something that is symbolic of Christ-symbolic of faith and a painting that she would love.
I love how the cross is derived from lace, giving it a feminine vibe.
I don't want to say too much, so I will stop know. Art is in the eye of the beholder and I don't want to taint your opinion.
