This is a hybrid between section Spatulata and section Phalaenanthe.
I am not sure which one was used D. gouldii or D. discolor. Looking at the flower arrangement, most likely is D. gouldii in the background, instead of D. discolor.

This kind of hybrid can be grown under full sun. In tropical countries, these types of plants grow vigorously reaching 2 meters is not uncommon with multiple flower spikes per cane.
Therefore, this type of hybrid is very popular in tropical countries.
