Wow! That is a nice Gator shot! I would love to see one of those up close...but not too close. I see you were at 500mm...good idea!

Superb. and up to your usual, very high standards, Dana.
I love the perspective of this lengthy predator. Fine detail, colour, depth of field and impressive use of the water, drawing our attention to the Gator. The colours are subtle, not too vivid, and give just the right amount of background interest and scale, for your mighty subject.
