I had the good luck to see this spectacularly acrobatic behavior by a pair of Scarlet Macaws at Lookout Inn on the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica; the rest of our group were off somewhere else and this was my only close-up view of a pair bonding interaction I had on our trip.
