We stayed in the Moss Landing area July 6 and 7, 2011, where the bird photography highlight was the nesting colony of Great Egrets, cormorants, and a few Great Blue Herons at Moonglow Dairy; also summering Sooty Shearwaters, post-breeding dispersion Elegant Terns, and a few early Fall migrant shorebirds.
