We stayed at our friends' house in Monterey Dunes Colony and I got pictures spanning 8/13-16/12, including some adult-juvenile interactions of the resident coastal subspecies of White-crowned Sparrows, and some small groups of post-breeding Snowy Plovers foraging on the beach.
