Spent a weekend at Monterey Dunes near Moss Landing on Monterey Bay trying out my new Canon 20D and 500mm lens; sidetrip to Monterey and Pacific Grove.

Hi Tom, I've got to tell you that I am COMPLETELY blown-away by your fantastic work in these galleries... I'm a PBASE member (Photoarrow), but a lady named Kelly (kellyhiking.blogspot.com) included a link to your site to illustrate a bird she was commenting on... Wow! What wonderful bird shots... You must be an incredibly patient person to get all of these fantastic images... Seeing your work, I'm going to throw my Sony DSC-F717 away and go get myself a Canon 20D and a 500mm lens...
