Indigo Bunting, singing male

Skyline Ridge OSP

A rarity in Northern California, this beautiful eastern cousin of our Lazuli has been singing around the parking lot of a popular local hiking park, and been seen by many local birders. Indigo x Lazuli hybrids are not uncommon, so the singing may not go in vain.
