Sandhill Cranes, dancing

Woodbridge Road, San Joaquin Co

Sandhill Cranes "dance," that is, they engage in pair-based interactions including jumping, bowing, and prancing. The behavior is often associated with courtship, but it can occur at any time of the year -- here, in November.
