We came upon this juvenile Rhinoceros Auklet inside Princeton Harbor on our return from a pelagic trip to the Farallon Islands late in the afternoon. The mostly dark bill and the dark eye identify it as a juvenile -- as did its willingness to pose for us while our boat made close approach.
