Birds -- Central Florida, March 2008

March 19-26 I was in a two-part bird photography workshop with James Shadle on Tampa Bay (specialty bird, Roseate Spoonbill), and Jim Neiger mostly on the lakes around Kissimmee, near Orlando (specialty bird, Snail Kite). This was a great experiences, and my gallery shows a lot of our two specialty birds, plus plenty of others. I strongly recommend working with James and Jim to anyone who likes bird photography; they are superb teachers and excellent hosts. Thanks also to my fellow workshoppers Ray Halt and Susan Schermer, who were really good company.
