PAST AND PRESENT

San Antonio, TX

I was wondering if the guys that fought at the Alamo would have ever believed a Marriott would be standing so near to it.
Past history meets present world.

I feel the history more at the Alamo when it is dark because the final battle started before sunrise and maybe the campfires might have lighted the facade in a similar way. My night shot has the Crocket Hotel sign over the Alamo, and I think about how surreal that is. Voted.

great thought over a fortress and indeed well captured, Cindi. V

Interesting juxtaposition (there... I used that word again). Great lighting.

Beautiful work, Cindy. I've tried to capture this marvelous place many times but never with this success. V
