FERAL CAT

Fort Worth, TX

We went to the Botanical Gardens today and on the way home, went through Trinity Park. There are a number of feral cats there. I've seen them before but not lately til today. Found about 3 of them. This one was hunting and looked up and saw me as I was taking the shot. Of course, he took off shortly thereafter.

It's great that they survive so well....makes you wonder why cats ever bothered to become domesticated. It's the soft beds and tummy tickles I expect! Lovely shot.

Didn't know you are a fan of the feline creatures. So the next time I need to know the name of the cat, I will ask you. You have definitely framed this cat nicely on this image with him hiding behind the wild bushes. The tiny purple flowers adds on a bit of a `country like' feeling. The picture is crisp. Vote~
