A little over a year ago I got a new job. I traveled Route 66 from Oklahoma to Illinois. Was a long 13 hour drive but was worth it. I saw this and reminded me of that trip and also all the other places I've traveled.

In 2008 I drove up the west coast by myself and met up with some photographer friends as well as a friend from school along the way. Started in San Diego, CA and drove up to Seattle, WA. It was a beautiful drive. I must go on another excursion soon. Thinking the east coast next from the Florida Keys to the beautiful state of Maine. Just need 2-3 weeks to really do what I want to do. That will happen in the next year or so. I love road trips, plane trips, cruises and train trips. Not keen on taking a bus anywhere, though. Yes, another epic journey is ahead. Can't wait! Then, on to Europe!

In the meantime, I fly back to Illinois on Monday, get home Wednesday and then head to the beach Thursday and stay thru Sunday. Life is good, life is very, very good! I'm the wandering gypsy. Always have been, always will be. And, it makes me happy.
