Grand Saline, TX

Went to the Peanut Butter Festival in Grand Saline today and they made the world's largest peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Miss Texas USA cut the first sandwich and I got this pic of her. Took almost 3 hours to make the sandwich. 1342 pounds of bread, peanut butter and jelly. And, yes, I got a sandwich that was as big as the one she is holding. Great sandwich. Homemade bread, peanut butter and jelly.

It's cool when you have a DSLR and not a point and shoot because they let you up close thinking you are with a newspaper. No one questioned me at all. :)

Also went to the Festival in Edgewood where they had a car show, arts and crafts and other stuff too.

I think they knew they were dealing with the famous Pbase artist, "Cindi" and they knew it would be seen around the world......lovely photo of a beautiiful young lady.

Yes..if you have a big lens, preferable in white, then no problem to get close :) ! Beautiful shot of a beautiful woman...sandwich too!
