MEMORIES - PLAYING THE BEATLES IN THE PARK

Fort Worth, TX

This band plays Beatles music and they were playing "I Want To Hold Your Hand". Brought back a memory of when I was probably 5 and this song came on the radio. I was playing with my Ken and Barbie dolls (didn't happen often) and so I had Ken and Barbie holding hands and dancing in the window. I can remember it like it was yesterday...

btw...the concert got canceled soon after this due to high winds and rain! Would have to happen when these guys were playing instead of the folks singing Opera...:(

Lol! Too bad about the afternoon thundershower and winds. I was in middle school when they first became popular here in the US. Our parents were totally scandalized by their hair and songs. Now they play them on elevators and in boring doctors offices.
