Thank you for taking the time to look and I am glad you like them. You are right about timing and luck and I hope as I get more experience with it there will be better timing. The hard part is finding a good vantage point that allows you to work a few jumps from one location for different angles and perspective.

Terry, I've come back to this image twice today.
I absolutely love the colour contrast of horse and jump.
As well, the entire balance of the pic, between horse, rider and scene is marvelous. I know that with "jump shots" part of it is timing, and part of it is luck. It's a great shot as well in the arc of the horse, and the placement of the back hooves. I'm not sure you could have shot that better had you tried!!!
