The old turquoise room at Le Chalet Hotel,
an old derelict hotel at Corbiere in Jersey,
used to be one of my favourite settings for
portrait photography. This is just a small
selection of around 2000 snaps taken there,
before it was turned into rubble in the spring of 2005.

The place really was a health hazard. At first
it was a great empty room, till vandals smashed
the windows, ripped the mirrors off the walls and
pretty much wrecked the place. That did not deter
me from using it as a studio though.

Vulgar remarks from unregistered users have resulted
in some of the images to be moved to a locked folder.
I got a bit tired of constantly having to delete them.
I will provide anyone with a genuine interest in my
photography with the access code. All you have to do
is ask...
