Riding the Bufo bufo: a fancy way of saying riding a toad.
Toads: 'crapeauds' are what Jersey is famous for. These funky
creatures are common on the mainland but are not found on any
of the other Channel Islands. They are currently starting to
find shelter for the winter in preparation for hybernation.
