The Holga is not a camera that I will be using
too often again. This was one roll of 120 film
that was pretty much wasted except for this shot
which is growing on me.

Hi Kees. A special moment indeed. The combination of background textures and randomly selective lighting (fortuneately in all the right places) creates a special mood here that is difficult to quantify. And with the child making direct contact with your lens and Vanessa posed, communicating directly with the child, you get the best of candid and formal worlds. Hi Kees, you shouldn't give up on this plastic camera. I can understand why this photo is growing on you. The effect from the light fall-off and lack of sharpness impart a magical effect to this image.

Pure class. You must admit that the Holga has a unique feeling to the results and this one is great. I would like to see more work like this on this site. John
