A nice close-up of the wood grain I scratched into the plasticard. You can also see teh bolts that attach the rails to the ties. Each bolt is built out of a slice of hex rod with a slice of rod as the threading bolt. Someone asked me how it actually holds and I replied that the railway segments are actually pre-fabricated with the bolt going all the way through the tie and then the whole thing being laid down at once and attached to other segments.
