If you look carefully at teh right side of this image you can see the dashed lines where I have deliniated the extent of the internal vehicle decks. Note that the upper deck is bigger than the lower deck. This is intentional and provides for crash langings to damage equipment in the lower deck less. An internal lift allows for transfer of tanks between decks.
