The brackets have been glue to the 1" 40K round bases slightly off center. An easy way to measure tehm is to line up the top corners of the imperial bracket with the edge of the round base as this will automatically line it up. The Chaos Hatch covers are now glued in their place under the bracket. Note I have added the two cuttings from the star hatch cover to round off the top edge of the bracket. The farthest hatch cover has been glue in such a way that it looks like it has been opened. Note that this one is special conversion where I cut a small rectangle in the base and backed it with a piece of plasticard to make it look like the enterance to the interior of the Wheel. Where the hatch is open I had to cut a notch about 2mm deep in the edge of the base so the joint between the hatch and base was strong. The hatch cover that is glued flush needs the interior handle release tab cut off so it sits flush. I have no idea how the hatch would open with the antenna in the way. I imagine that it retracts for teh hatch to pass by without damage...
