Penelope October 6 thru January 16

Penelope came home with me late on the night of October 5, 2004.
She at first was a very odd appearing little cat, probably a badly bred exotic shorthair. Later I learned that she had been a drop off at Winnebago County Animal Services, Illinois on 9/25/04. On 10/4 she had a spay surgery and on the following day she was transported to Purebred Cat Rescue. At her first weigh in on 10/6 she weighed a pathetic 4 lbs 11 oz. Her condition was only fair. She was estimated to be possibly 18 months old.

Update January 16, 2005
Penelope's weight is up to 8 lbs 12 ozs.

Penelope is a fine example of a purebred blue Exotic Short Hair cat.
My first impression of her was that she was a very badly bred ESH however she has certainly undergone and amazing transformation. I think she will continue to gain perhaps another 16 oz and fill out a little more in depth of body.
The quality and color of her fur coat is especially outstanding. She also has the best type of cat personality.

So cute and funny, I am glad Penelope found good home ! She is likely mix of Persian and Russian blue... Very cute
