Thank you Pomah. What you don't see/realise is that at that particular spot the swimming in the lagoon is not particularly good (hence the swimming pool is by far the better option). In Aitutaki (as in many other tropical islands) much of the lagoon is both very shallow and the coral comes in close to the beach. In Aitutaki you really need to hire a small boat to be taken out to one of the small motu's (islands) further out in the lagoon. In Aitutaki, what that provides you is is simply paradise!
