Are the names listed on this stone those that died in mining accidents? I'd like to learn more as my family settled in Windber and I am researching my family history. Both sides of my father's family (Datko and Mauger) had several coal miners who worked/lived in Windber. I am told that my grandmother had an uncle who died working in the mines in Windber.
