Daan is a very isolated village of the ethnic minority Tagbanua located in the central mountains of Palawan.
I visited Daan, a one day walk from our home village, with Fr. Torres a Filipino Catholic missionary priest.
While in this remote settlement we met a traveling Iranian missionary of the Bahai faith, a most improbable encounter.
The three of us stayed up much of the night in a friendly debate over our differing views of life and how it all came about.
