Enjoyed taking memory trip. Never again in May - heat unbearable! I think from November is ok. Your photo's fantastic.

The winter weather was not as warm as expected. The temperatures were just fine during the day for visiting the sites (18-24°C), but really cold during the nights and the early morning (probably not even 5°C). It was said it was an unusual cold winter.

Your pictures are very instructive about what one will see on the tour. I am doing the same tour for Christmas. How was the winter weather there?

Yes Iris, it was an organized tour with guide on the Nile from Luxor to Aswan and back to Luxor with a way too short trip to the temples of Abu Simbel. It was a great tour.
