Tough choice...I like them both very much. #1 for its technical brilliance, #2 for its emotional effect...For this challenge, I'll vote for #2 as it really represents the world of a child. Mariette

Both are very nice but I will have to go with #2 on this... it seems for me to be a bit more meaningful (these drawings are probably from someone very close to the person who took the picture... and that person could be the world to them - it also illustrates the child growth in the world - his feelings etc...) This is why I went with this one.

Only 2 pics this week but both are wonderful.

I vote for 1---the fisheye approach is appropriate in creating a little "world," and the Settlers board is a "world" in itself too.

#2 is less technically strong (forgivable) but definitely tugs at the heartstrings...irresistably sweet!

I wish I'd had time/thought of it, but this would have been the perfect opportunity to do a "planet panorama"

Two great pictures.
I will vote for #1 for composition and technical quality.
I was dearly tempted to vote for #2, but it is just a bit out of focus. Easy detail to fix.
Use tripod, take your time, take many shots, choose best one, touch it up a bit...
Great idea though.
