I missed the voting period...but I like #4 a lot, and would have voted for that one.
#1 is also pretty interesting given the 2 distinct planes (the fence and the building in the background) and how they come together.

I vote for #3 for the simplistic yet graphic shot. I feel it is a bit too tight though and could use some breathing space.
Love the tones on #5 too.

#3 - for the simplicity. It reminds me of an abstract painting.
4 as runner-up for the contrast between the busy and static parts.

I wish I could think outside the box, I missed this challenge cause all I could think of is taking pictures of buildings, when really I could've taken a picture of something being built! lol - My vote goes to #5, I like the colors, the clarity and the way it was taken

I find the fencing interesting in #1. At that angle, the fence poles get closer and closer at the rate of the golden ratio (roughly) until they blend together.
so many blue tones in #5, and the building is levitating...cool.
#6 looks like a multi shot panarama, but i can see where it was stitched. I bet with lens distortion and such a linear subject, it must be tough to align perfectly.
#2 maybe not crop the chimney off, but I like the duality of having a building and a tractor which is probably used for building- or maybe it's going to tear down the old building?

I like the simple, two tone approach, face on picture style.
