Challenge 12 - Dark

WINNER is Lucky No. 7, for a very effective shot in the dark.
Please identify yourself.

It would also be nice if all the other participants would add their name to the picture.

Dark in theme, dark in colour, a dark place, a dark feeling. This challenge is open to interpretation. Maybe put in a little explaination or title to describe the dark element of your photos.

Submissions from October 22nd to November 1st.
Voting from November 2nd to November 6th.

We will continue with a limit of three submissions per member for this challenge.

I vote for 5- Graveyard Shift. I can definitely appreciate the guts to go out into a graveyard on Halloween at midnight! I really like that you can see the stars, but I wonder how it would look if the picture, or just the sky, were just a little less exposed. It almost looks like daytime, which is kind of weird. Good work!

I had to delete my vote - I put the wrong number for the photo I was looking at. ha
#4, the dark and mysterious woman. Like I said, I'm a sucker for a good close up portrait. Nice sharp eye. Well framed.

my vote goes to #5 Graveyard Shift. I love night photography. I appreciate the great depth of field on this especially because I know how hard it is to get perfect when you're shooting in the dark.
I also really like #7 for all the reasons others have already stated.

I have to vote #7, it's simplicity is captivating, a great photo in many different ways (composition, lighting). Other notable mentions for me are 4 (if the challenge had bee portrait this one would get my vote) and 5.

Wow.. these are great. I'll vote for #5. The tombstone's are perfectly placed (IMO) and with the background, there's a calm yet foreboding air to the photograph. Great pic.

My vote goes to: - 5 Graveyard Shift - I had to open all images to see them one by one - I saw that (5 Graveyard Shift) Used a long shutter speed and I feel that the composition is really god - Great work !
