This is from a recent trip to Sweetheart creek in Gilbert bay. There is a very large salmon run in this creek and also a very large resident bear population. We saw around 12-15 different bears in our trip. We had several very close encounters in the deep brush going in and out of here. Very spooky and very invigorating. Your senses are on high buzz when you walk around a stump in the deep brush and come within 20 feet of a momma brown bear and her cubs.
