This concludes another year of my PAD diary. This is in our front yard. It was done while we were launching mortars. I set the camera on bulb, focus on manual, set for infinity. My boy lights the fuse and I open the shutter, and you get the initial launch explosion, then while still holding the shutter open, I quickly pan straight up and roughly eye ball the main explosion. This one shot just happened to frame my wife and son. Happy new year everybody!
