Not sure what this was about. This large sea lion was holding its fin into the air. We sat with it for about 30 minutes and it never submerged. The other sea lions you see here were nursing it along and helping hold its head up. I am not sure if it was a female and was giving birth or if its back was broke. I have seen documentaries about killer whales breaking their backs with repeated blows. Just not sure.
