The Grand Pacific glacier. This is the main glacier that carved out Glacier Bay. It has receded 60 miles in the 200 years since Vancouver First visited the area. It is only one mile into the US. The mountains beyond reside in Canada. The while on the water line is the ice flow coming out of John Hopkins, a very active glacier and it was very hard to traverse with my little boat.
