This is what a 100 pound halibut looks like before its in the boat. This is a friend of mine who I took for his first halibut fishing trip. He is a former semi pro bass fisherman so this is a little bit of a departure from his normal routine. By the way, he hooked this in 315 feet of water and about half way up he made the comment, "There is just no comfortable way to reel this thing" Nice job Wes!
