A rather mundane set of photos but I posted the set because of what it is. I found a California Gray whale almost at the head of Tracy Arm. I was born and raised up here and this is the first one I have ever seen up here. They do migrate through SE Alaska but I was told by a friend of mine at the fish and game that when they are in this area they are usually about 100 miles off shore heading north.
