taku water hole 800-0087.jpg

We were out playing/fishing in the helicopter last week and while we were changing river drainage's we found this dynamic water feature. This is a fairly good sized river that has blown a hole under these rocks and created a 100 foot deep sharp walled canyon. This is hard to imagine the size with out a reference but the river is hard flowing and about 60 to 80 feet across. I had my buddy Rey circle this a couple of times to try and get a better pic but there were fish to be caught. This is located up by the Canadian border between the Taku river valley and the Speel River valley. There is NO WAY to get to this on foot. We are about 60 miles from salt water here. Very remote area.
