The reason this photo is kind of dark is because the camera was acting up ever since it got wet during an incredible thunderstorm at the Forbidden City in Beijing (which by the way flooded the city in many places).
The camera held on (barely) till the plane ride home to NY when it finally completly died and got fixed (NOT) under warranty.

Don't get your digital camera wet..not even a little bit!!!
