The Soap bubble

The soap bubble nebula lies in the constellation Cygnus.
It is about 4000 light years away from Earth and has a diameter of 5 light years.
This round planetary nebulae are usually formed when a star like our Sun is dying and sheds its outer layers into space.
The 'age' of the shedding is estimated about 22,000 years ago.
