Eta Carina or NGC 3372

Eta Carina/ NGC 3372 or Dunlop 309 is a broad expance of bright diffuse nebula and associated star clusters with prominent dark lanes. This nebula covers an area of some 4 degrees of sky and is plainly visible to the naked eye from a dark site at magnitude 3.00.

Takahashi Sky 90 operating at f/4.5. Taken in the light of Hydrogen Alpha (Ha) using an Astrodon 6Nm filter.
