NGC 2516 or The Southern Beehive Cluster.

Cootamundra, NSW.

NGC 2516 is an Open Cluster within the constellation of Carina, this cluster is some 30 arc minutes wide and shines at a magnitude of 3.8, it is sometimes known as The Southern Beehive Cluster or The Diamond Cluster.

Takahashi TSA-120 fitted with a Hotech Flattener and operating at a focal length of 900mm or f/7.5.

Field of View is 1.4 degrees by 0.9 degrees.
