NGC 2516 is a bright, southern, Open Cluster in the Constellation of Carina. This Mag. 3.8 cluster is visible to the naked eye and is rich in stars ranging from Mag. 7 to 13 and covers an area about the size of the Full Moon.
There are also a couple of faint PGC galaxies in the background.
