The strawberry wood culvert

Strawberry Wood, Benenden , Kent view map

This had the appearance of a ,dare I say it, a Roman Bridge.Nothing to name it as such.No entry on a large scale map,per say.Only a rather shabby, information board, suggesting that there could have been a Roman road in the vicinity, going to Canterbury , but which has never been found. This site is less than a mile from the invisible Roman Ford, actually on the line of a known Roman Road.Would the Romans really have built two roads going up the same hill,1/2 mile apart?
